Everything you need to know about ContextMesh
General
ContextMesh is a cookie-free contextual ad marketplace. Publishers earn revenue by placing ad zones on their content. Advertisers reach audiences based on what people are reading right now — not who they are. No cookies, no user profiles, no consent banners needed.
AdSense uses cookies and user tracking. ContextMesh uses semantic analysis of page content — no GDPR consent popups, no third-party cookies, ads more relevant to the article topic.
Yes. ContextMesh does not set cookies, does not store personally identifiable information, and does not build user profiles. Publishers do not need consent banners for ContextMesh ads under GDPR.
ContextMesh is available globally. Advertisers can target specific countries, regions, and cities. Publisher payouts are supported in 30+ currencies.
For Publishers
Register, add your site, place the 3-line SDK snippet, and create context zones. Ads start matching within minutes.
Earnings depend on content quality, traffic volume, and context score. High-intent content typically earns €2–€8 eCPM. You receive 70–85% of ad revenue.
A placement on your page with semantic tags (e.g. "Solar Energy Research"). The SDK handles ad matching automatically.
Payouts on the 1st of each month for the previous month's earnings, once your balance exceeds the minimum threshold (€25).
An optional per-site setting (Sites & Zones → cog icon) that lets ContextMesh render ads as first-party content modules with neutral CSS class names and inline injection, so they survive most browser-side ad blockers. It only activates when both the campaign and the platform also opt in — otherwise we silently fall back to standard delivery. Disclosure ("Sponsored" label) is still shown to comply with FTC and ePrivacy.
Yes. From your dashboard → Advertiser Deals, set a custom CPM for a specific advertiser — on a single listing or across all of yours. The deal price overrides your public list price whenever that advertiser books, and you can revoke it any time. Handy for repeat buyers, volume rates, or prices you negotiate over the marketplace inbox.
For Advertisers
You create intent bundles — collections of semantic tags. When a page matches those tags, your ad is eligible to serve. No cookies, no user tracking.
Text ads, image banners, responsive cards, sticky bars, in-article, video ads, product cards, and lead forms.
Pre-fund a wallet balance. Campaigns spend from that balance on a CPM basis.
Yes — countries, regions, cities, and radius areas via server-side IP lookup. No personal data stored.
Enable Anti-Ad-Block Mode when creating a campaign (Delivery Options section). It tells our SDK to render your ad as first-party inline content using neutral DOM class names, which most browser-side blockers no longer match. It activates only on publisher sites that also opted in — other sites silently serve the campaign in standard mode, so you never lose eligible inventory. There's no surcharge for using it.
Yes. Publishers can set a private deal CPM just for you, which applies automatically when you book. Your price is also locked for each booking — the daily auto-pricing never changes a campaign that is already running. And for a short cooldown window after a booking ends (set by the publisher), you can re-book at your previous price.
Yes. When you book a placement you can pay by card, PayPal, or straight from your ContextMesh vault balance if you have funds in it.
